Now that Hadley has turned 6 months old, we thought it was time to get some professional pictures taken of her. I mean, Heather and I both have an unbelievable eye for photography, which you’ve all seen in the pics we post, but we thought it might be a good idea to call on a [...]

Whew!  It’s been a busy two weeks in our household.  We had Hadley’s 6 month appointment at Dr. Burton’s office last Monday.  Hadley is doing great and is growing right on target.  She also had her 6 month shots and reacted better than she had up to this point.  She usually screams her head off [...]

I hope everyone had a happy and safe fourth of July. As far as I know, all of my friends and family made it through the holiday without losing any digits, which is good. I would assume I’d have heard about it by now if they had. I’ll never run that risk because the only [...]

The inaugural Portland Sunday Parkways took place on Sunday, June 22nd in North Portland (our neighborhood). This is an event where Portlanders are encouraged to get out and enjoy Portland by walking, biking, strolling, rollerblading or whatever through a 6 mile stretch of road. My appt. is at 8:10. I arrive [...]

SATC

For those of you not in the know, the Sex and the City movie came out last week.  From what I hear it’s doing quite well too.  I was invited to Cinetopia with some friends to see it last weekend.  Everyone was to do their Portland best to dress the part.  While it sounded like [...]

We had a pretty relaxing, and very low key Memorial Day weekend. We attended Ana Yrazabal’s baptism, and enjoyed great food & conversation at the “after-party”. It had been a long time since I’d been in a church, and honestly, nothing had changed. I was still really tired and wanted to fall asleep, just as [...]
