Rice Crispy Treats?

More like rice crispy crumbles…
I’ve always fancied myself a pretty good cook, until yesterday.  I was cleaning and organizing the pantry and noticed we had some marshmallows in there.  Besides toasted marshmallows when you’re camping, what in the world do you use them for?  I’m not a fan of yams and marshmallow topping at that, [...]

Hitting the bottle hard

Hadley was introduced to her first bottle last night, and if it’s any indication, we could have an alcoholic on our hands when she grows up. She LOVED the bottle, after she figured out what the hell it was we were sticking her mouth. A few squirts of mamma’s sweet nectar into her mouth eliminated [...]

Last night I attended an award ceremony for the MAX Awards, which honors some of the best marketing campaigns in 2007 from agencies in the Portland area. I’m proud to say that the Oregon Duck hockey team eliminated USC in the Pac 8 championships by crushing them 5-1 in Kent, WA last Friday. It was the 3rd time in 3 years that UO played USC in the championship game, with USC winning the previous 2. Not this time my friends. The Ducks [...]

These are 2 actors I’d never thought of comparing before, but after seeing Hot Rod, I was forced to compare each actors’ theatrics, dance moves and passion. Check out this awesome vid comparing Samberg and Bacon. If you can’t stomach the entire Footloose dance, the Hot Rod dance starts at about 3 minutes.

I’ve got to [...]

First Pediatrician Visit

Yesterday Heather and I brought Hadley to her first visit at Dr. Burton’s office. This was just a check up to see how Hadley was doing. She has gained a few ounces back as she weighed in at a whopping 7lbs 3oz. When we left the hospital last Friday, she weighed 6lbs 12oz, so good [...]
